Nevada Public School Education Badly Needed Radical Reform
The real problem is "union politics", which includes executive collective bargaining rights, as utilized by school principals,.as well as management employees -- an oxymoron phenom.  America's children are CONDEMENED into an inferior public school sytem despite the trillions of dollars paid for by property owners taxpayers but spent recklessly by adults, in the last one hundred years ! America's best days are behind us but let's give it another college try ....WELCOME TO "BARACKALYPSE  OBAMAGEDDON" ...

Let's streamline the school system by spending more money on the children and cutting bloated free-pension. In our state of Nevada alone, according to the 2010 failed gubernatorial candidate Rory  Reid, a liberal Democrat and eldest son of US Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, the state government allocated 90% of education money, salaries and out-of-this-world fringe benefits, for the adults (for teachers, janitors, bureaucrats, bus drivers). Only 10% is spent for the kids (for text books, supplies, toilet paper etc) !

We can end teachers tenure and then increase salaries for teachers who perform well. Rewarding good teachers will increase the graduation percentile, as well. Notice the 75% drop-out rate in urban public schools, where nearly $14,000.00 per pupil spending were spent on greedy adults !!  We need to reform tachers seniority system because it demands layoffs of young bright teachers during a school budget crunch.

Strengthening the Social Security System and Medicare utilizing conservative aproach
Eddie Hamilton, a senior himself, says our future is in peril!  Edward Hamilton believes the govenment must stop raiding the Social Security trust fund. This fund has traditionally been a source of "free money" for the US Congress. The social Security Administration should be returned to its pre-1965 system, with its own CHECK BOOK, not politized, and not a part of the Consolidated Federal Budget.

Candidate Hamilton's own original idea is to increase the revenue of the Social Security trust fund without tax increase, while not increasing the retirement age ( the Social Security Administration ought to start charging the US Congress / US Treasury the going financial market rate for money lending).

Hamilton asserts that prior to 1965 the Social Security Administration (SSA) was "off budget" and was autonomous in its operation , with its own checking account to pay each beneficiary, free of political manipulation. (such as seen in August 2011 during the National Debt ceiling increase request debate, when Barack Obama threatened American seniors with stopping their Social Security monthly checks, if he is denied a new a credit card with a higher National Debt ceiling). President Lyndon Johnson ("LBJ") consolidated the SSA budget into the total Federal budget general fund thus enablingh the US Congress to continuously raid this funding source for retirees. Eddie "theRetiree" Hamilton believes strongly that we must now de-couple the SSA into an independent budget so it can nolonger be manipulated as a threat to social security monthly checks not being mailed out to some 50 million + beneficiaries. 

Furthermore, politicians want working people of America to retire at the age of 70. But, at the same time allowing public employees to retire at the age of 50, at full salary & health insurance coverage, fully funded by taxpayers ! Gimme a break

Edward "the Frugal" Hamilton is not in favor of the complete overhaul replacement of the Medicare Program, as proposed by Republican Congressman Ryan from Wisconsin. Hamilton's own original idea asserts that by controlling, say the excessive specialist visit authorizations, we can slash the enormous costs of medical hospitalization programs under Medicare Part-A ( by the way, the annual cost to the taxpayers for Medicare Part-A hospitalization care alone was about $500 billion in 2009). The average Medicare beneficiary, however, paid only less than $20,000.00 in Medicare tax per lifetime. Many seniors in America want to live until they are 100 years old, given the opportunity to charge the taxpayers at will ! Hey, if you could get away with it, why not ????? Currently Medicare Part "B", such as doctor's office visits, lab work, MRI, CT SCAN, X-ray, Ultra sound and other imaging technology, has a fee premium of about $100 per month (automatically deducted from monthly social security check) but the incredibly expensive Part "A" Hospitalization is FREE for about 50,000,000 Medicare beneficiaries ! BTW, Hamilton knows all these because he is a senior citizen ...All in all Hamilton believes that part of the Medicare solution is by beefing up Medicare Part "C" offering HMO's and PPO's.

For a quick fix  to boost tourism in Las Vegas and other Nevada counties, Edward Hamilton will push hard for the full  implementation of the intent in the 26th Amendment to the US Constitution, granting all American citizens 18 years of age the full rights of adult status, including the right to vote, reasonable alcohol consumption and playing black jacks. Edward was involved in support of the ratification of the 26th Amendment in the 1970's. He is a committed "libertarian" from the Battle Born State of Nevada. According to Hamilton, perhaps a waiver could be granted for the state of Nevada to allow 18 to 20 year olds the full status of adulthood. The US Congress is charged by the Constitution to enact legislation for all constitutional amendments. We must REPEAL the 18 year old age PROHIBITION contained in the Transportation Act of 1978, ie in order to get federal highway funds, and complying with the then-mandated 55 MPH speed limit, states must dilute the Age of Majority by increasing it from 18 to 21 years old !

ED HAMILTON PROPOSES A SUSPENSION IN THE MINIMUM WAGE LAW FOR YOUNG AMERICANS, UNDER 25 YEARS OLD, AS LONG AS THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IS HIGH...THIS MOVE WILL MOTIVATE SMALL BUSINESS ENTERPRISES TO HIRE YOUNG PEOPLE IMMEDIATELY, ESPECIALLY IN THE URBAN AREAS OR THE SO-CALLED GHETTOS ...

HAMILTON WANTS TO REFORM THE CURRENT WELFARE-LIKE UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION SYSTEM...GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT PAY UNEMPLOYED WORKERS UP TO $450 PER WEEK. EFFECTIVELY TAX FREE, FOR 99 WEEKS ! AS A MATTER OF FACT, ONE COULD EARN AN ASSOCIATE DEGREE FOR A NEW SKILL SET FROM A COMMUNITY COLLEGE IN 99 WEEKS. MEANWHILE, THE OTHER 14 MILLION UNEMPLOYED PART-TIME WORKING  AMERICANS GET NOTHING ...LET'S DEVELOP A PRIVATE ACCOUNT FOR EVERY WORKING AMERICAN THEY CAN DRAW TAX FREE  WHEN UNEMPLOYED. ALL UNEMPLOYED WORKERS SHOULD WORK SUCH AS VOLUNTEERING FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE (STAYING HOME WILL RESULT IN ATROPHY)... 

  
No Birth Certificate, No presidential ballot name
If elected, Edward Hamilton will introduce legislation in the U.S. Senate requiring US presidential and vice presidential candidates representing all political parties to submit their original-at-birth American birth certificates prior to getting on the state ballot. This Federal office is the only one mandated by the US Constitution to have a native-born US citizenship requirement for candidacy. To that extent, he is in support of the US Presidential Eligibility Act, currently a bill pending approval in the Congress.
